Daya grew up under the guidance and leadership of godly men and women who nurtured him in his spiritual walk. One day he discovered that God had trusted him with the gift of music, a high tenor voice. He soon joined the music ministries of the church and became a regular member of the choir. Daya has also performed for several recording artists on request.

He had the honor of singing at the opening ceremony for the World Cup Cricket at Calcutta, under the direction of the Late Ananda Shankar. Daya received many offers to join the commercial world and make a name for himself… instead he chose to sing for his creator, the greatest honor one could ever get. His dream is to touch the lives of the children of India and take Christian music into every home in India… because Christian music is simply irresistible.
