Kaveree Bamzai is an independent journalist with more than 30 years at India Today, The Indian Express and The Times of India.

She lives in Delhi with her journalist husband, two sons. As the first woman editor of India Today between and , three dramatic years in India's life, Kaveree has always been where the action is.

In India Today since , she has interviewed almost every star of note in Bollywood, including miraculously getting articulate interactions out of several usually non verbal actors such as Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. From plotting trends and tracking actors in the world of entertainment, she has observed the changes in the Mumbai film industry and understood the vision behind some of the most transformative movies of our times.
